A Plain & Simple Christmas
A short and sweet Christmas tale that I should have loved, but really struggled with. Growing up around Old Order Amish made me quite familiar with their practices and beliefs. This story made the practice of shunning much lighter than is practiced here. I kept becoming frustrated - even knowing that the author has written in the beginning of the book about the liberties she had taken.The story is well written, heartwarming and a sweet short read, and those that love Christmas stories are going to love this book. My problem is I just got hung up on details
